What does DIEM Analytics do with the information you collect from me?

Your interview data will be aggregated with all other interviews completed on the same survey. The resulting analysis is displayed in a range of visualizations for the owner of the survey to view. Your full transcript may be viewed by the owner of the survey unless stated otherwise.

Will people using the data know that it’s me?

Unless otherwise stated, DIEM Analytics Ltd collects no personal information from you, the user, when you are conducting an interview with DUCHESS. Each interview transcript is assigned a randomly generated ID code that cannot be traced back to you unless stated otherwise.

Is my information secure?

Creation of data

DUCHESS uses the OpenAI API for text and speech processing. Please see below for the OpenAI privacy policy related to this element of DUCHESS, which is subject to change in accordance with OpenAI policy:

• The OpenAI API meets rigorous security and privacy standards, including SOC 2 compliance.
• Backed by a robust infrastructure, the OpenAI API offers enterprise-grade security, availability, compliance, and manageability. The DUCHESS application does not make use of custom data and models at any time.

Storage of data

Upon moving to the next question, your transcribed data is stored in a MongoDB database. This database is protected by MongoDB's advanced security features including network isolation, encryption at rest, and role-based access controls. By default, all connections to the database are secured and monitored. DIEM Analytics Ltd controls all access to the database.

Is DIEM Analytics Ltd compliant with the GDPR?

Yes. DIEM Analytics Ltd is compliant with the General Data Protection Regulation and registered with the ICO.
